Trials round
up
The Worthing club done a demonstration at the Pulborough
Harvest show on Saturday the 24th of September for the third year running. We
laid out six sections on the morning and rode in three half an hour shows
throughout the day.The public and organizers were very imressed with wait the
riders rode across , the riders who took part were from beginners level
upto some of the clubs best riders. Sharon and Rose shared the scoring , Justin
and Danny were the observers with myself on the microphone. Danny Green and his
mate Scott rode their cycle trial bikes in between our shows which also went
down very well .
James Fry finished second place in round seven of the
Expert class British championship which was the Mitchell
trial in Wales. James was fourteen marks behind the winner Ricky Wiggins
who leads the championship, Ben Wibberley had his best ride of the year in
fifth.
Emma Bristow came fourth at Tolmezzo in Italy
today but holds onto second in the 2011 World Ladies Championship , fellow
Brit Becky Cook finished second on the day with Spainard Laia Sanz the Champion
after three straight wins. The Worthing club would like to congratulate Emma on
her fine performance.
Well done to Alan Aslett for his fantastic ride
in the Manx two day Classic Bike trial on the Isles of Man, Alan rode his
BSA to a fine 10th place in the clubmam class, a great
performance.
Emma Bristow was second in
Grossheubach, Germany for round one of the world ladies championship. Laia
Sanz of spain lost 5 , Emma lost 26 with Becky Cook third with 30 , Donna
Fox was Fifth.
Well done to Joel Manthorpe for finishing 14th
at the youth A British Championship at Hope Farm , Northumberland, and in doing
so getting two points in the championship with one round remaining. Last
weekend Jame Fry had a fine second place at Brimham rocks which was run by rthe
Yeadon and Guiseley club with new minder John Mitchell at his side also on
the same weekend.
Emma Bristow won round seven of the ladies
championship at Woodyard near Reeth , North Yorkshire , which means she
has clinched second in the overall championship.
James Fry has been picked by the ACU committee
as manager for the ladies des nations team , Well done to him .Becky Cook ,
Emma Bristow and Hannah Styles will be wearing the British racing green
helmets of the GB team at Tolmezzo Italy on September the 17th, you can do
it girls no problem !
