Championship Rules for
2008
This year’s championship consists of 7
rounds, points gained from 5 rounds out of the 7 will count towards
the final championship score.
A minimum of 3 championship scores are
requited to qualify for the championship.
Riders who want to qualify for the
championship must either observe themselves once or nominate another person to
observe for them once.
You must tell the Secretary at the start of
the trial the name of your nominated observer. The trial must be observed to
count as a championship round unless the committee decide otherwise. In
the case of yellow route riders, helping to clear up once after one trial
will count as their observation round.
Championship points will only be awared to club members once
they have paid their membership fee. Placements prior to payment of
membership fees will not be counted.
The championship consists of the following
classes.
White
Route
Expert, Inter, Schoolboy A. Blue
Route
Novice, Over 40, Schoolboy B, Pre 67 & Twinshock B Red
Route
Clubman, Over 50, Schoolboy C, Pre 67 & Twinshock C Yellow
Route
Beginners, Schoolboy D, Pre 67 & Twinshock D, Cadets
You
may change classes within the year but earlier points will be
lost.
If you have won a class for two consecutive years, you
either have to ride the class/route above or ride the year for no
award.
Each section must be ridden in consecutive number order
beginning at section one unless the Clerk of the Course or other club official
instructs otherwise.
Punch cards for the rounds after the lunchtime break will
not be issued until the Clerk of the Course authorises the restart of the
tiral.
